Babatunde Fowler, Executive Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has been elected President of the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF). Fowler defeated his Togolese counterpart by 13 votes to four in the Forum’s elections held recently in Durban, South Africa. Mauritius was voted Vice President. Also elected into the 10-country council were South Africa, Ghana, Burundi, Uganda and Liberia.
