Presiding Pastor of Salvation Ministries Pastor David Ibiyeomie celebrated his  54h birthday at the Salvation Ministries  headquarters  in Port Harcourt.Present at the celebration were Governor Wike,his wife Justice Eberechi Suzzette, Deputy Governor , Dr Ipalibo Harry Banigo, former Acting National Chairman of PDP , Prince Uche Secondus and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives , RT Hon. Austin Opara, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo,members of the State Executive Council and State House of Assembly.

Speaking at the event,Wike said:

"I believe  in celebrating  achievers while  they are still alive. Pastor David Ibiyeomie  has lived a life worthy of celebration. Despite the fact that we give him nothing , he has always  continued to intercede for us.

"At the time we were having  challenges,  he interceded for us.Today, the state is enjoying  relative  peace because  of  his prayers and spiritual  support".

He said that Pastor  IIbiyeomie has lived a life  of  legacies , touching humanity  in several ways .

Governor  Wike prayed God  to  grant  the Presiding Pastor of Salvation Ministries the good health and wisdom to continue  to  serve humanity .


In his remarks , the celebrant , Pastor David Ibiyeomie thanked Governor Wike and his  wife for honouring him by attending  the  birthday  despite their  crowded schedule.

The celebration witnessed special presentations  by renowned  Christian artistes and comedians.Thousands  of  members  attended the event.
