Religion is not to be blamed for the moral weakness and wickedness of our leaders.

Religion is a sort of system that provides an escape for real life issues and when the societal burden becomes smothering, religion teaches that unseen supernatural forces are responsible for our problems.

Instead of religious youths to protest against unemployment or lockdown the street because of corruption,they go to church to pray and fast for non existing jobs.

1) Re read my initial answer to you, the problem of Nigeria and the world remain individuals who revere neither God nor human life.

2)Enlightenment was ushered in to major parts of the world by religion. Religion has never been dying, it has been growing monstrously. You can make yourself happy anyway. Those countries along with other world powers have more religious people than non religious people and are still progressing. Your logic does not work.

3) If you preached atheism like you are doin here, you'd be considered a psycho too. Well, thats the tolerance that atheism offers. Those countries remain secular or irreligious, they are not atheistic. We have had atheistic countries and we still have some, we know how terribly inhuman they are.

4) Christianity, politics, tribalism etc have been used for war. Atheism has been used to destroy the lives of millions in ways christianity could never imagine. Anything can be used for war. However, christianity has been used to acheive world peace and democracy in ways other ideologies could only marvel at.
