Faith, a must for Christianity.

(Romans 14:23 KJV) And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Faith is very important in this Christian race. No doubt, this is why it is written without faith it is impossible to please God. We serve a God that we cannot see and touch (but we shall behold Him in His glory 1 Thess.4:16-17) neither has He given us any image as symbol to worship .How then do we serve this God? Through faith. Faith is our connecting link to Him. We pray(talk to Him) with faith ,salvation and righteousness are receive with/through faith (John 3:16, ROM.3:22, Gal.5:5, Phi.3:9), the sick are heal in the name of Jesus Christ through/with faith(Mk 16:17-19.) All that we do as Christians is by faith .For this reason ,Apostle Paul speaking by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit said we walk by faith and not by sight(2 Cor.5:7,Gal.3:11)

Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Hen.11:1.) Now, take a look at this; your faith as a Christian signifies (3) three important,viz;
1. That you believe in the existence of God."...For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists..."(Heb.11:6,RSV)Your faith means that yes ,there is God and He hears.(1 John 5:7,John 8:58,Heb.13:8,1Cor.8:4-6)

2. That you believe in His awesome power ; it is true that one runs to those that can help him when he is in trouble( Luke 1:37,Joel 2:32,ROM.10:13,Acts 2:21)

3. That you believe in God's faithfulness (Heb.13:5, Heb.10:23;2 Tim.2:13;Num.23:19)

Now, know this; faith is not restricted to the place of prayer. All that we are is faith ,it is what we live by(Gal. 3:11b; Heb.10:38; ROM.1:17; Habakkuk 2:4.) Whether it is the size of mustard seed which Jesus Christ referred to in Matt.17:20 or like that of a mountain, you have to get faith .So long you have faith, all is settled.
