Now we have seen this,
The F.G should ensure that all states publicly publish their monthly expenditure and leave avenues for verification open before the next allocation.

Failure to do this is corruption aiding corruption.
@ Enuguboy4nsk please modify the thread no number 13 which I believe is Akwa Ibom
. I equally saw that omission.

I think when he was busy asking question whether Osun State is cursed or not, he should have been busy asking question whether he himself is cursed.
Yes, Osun State allocation is in millions of naira yet, the state has found balance in paying salaries of workers and executing projects compare to Bayelsa state with 7.6billion naira with no tangible projects and inability to workers salaries.
abi ooo pls tell them oooo wailers will continue to wail till they reach d permanent site

If every state governor could utilize the lean resources accruing to States like gov ugwuanyi, then nobody should have been complaining. Imagine how many roads and other chosen projects that were flagged off simultaneously in all the 17 LGAs of Enugu state on 15/10/16 in addition to some federal roads maintenance. Enugu state is working unlike some states.

I pity those teachers in Ahoada East and West LGA that Wike has refused to pay their salaries for 6 months plus now.

This is really wickedness on the part of RVSG.
With all those money, why should they make those teachers to go to sleep everynight crying to their God to fight their battle for them. You feed fat with your Children and Wife out of state government funds, and you make families to go to sleep everynight on empty stomach for six months now.

There is God o!

With these kind of money, I no expect development because I think the money is not enough to pay civil service salaries and still use the money for projects.

It is better we go back to Regional system of government else our generation and others no go see us become Amelica. grin

Wow! This allocation going to Aregbe speaks volume of the indebtedness of the state of Osun. The government workers are in for a long wait without pay. I hope he pays up before he leaves, not leaving behind barrage of debt for the next governor. Ludicrous attempt at developing infrastructures at the expense of paying salaries.

For Dickson, it is obvious the degree of the looting going on in his government is spectacular. With a monthly wage bill less than 50% of the state allocation, yet workers go to bed hungry.

The emperors in our government houses are wicked and don't have the interests of the masses at heart

I keep wondering what Bayelsa with just 8 LGs with probably the smallest civil service in Nigeria finds it difficult to pay salaries. Dickson is wicked.
The political masters of the present governor gets lion share of wht accrues to the state monthly, hence "this motion without movement". governor Dickson needs urgent political exorcism

That was what Aregbe used to tell people of Osun when GEJ was still the president. FG must have hated Osun State so much.

With or without allocation, Ebonyi moves on. Diversification is not on pages of newspapers. Ask Umahi if you are in doubt.

Bayelsa State isn't the smallest in terms of Land mass,
the population figures are highly incorrect but i can assure you that if a new census is carried out today Bayelsa State will not be the smallest in terms of population figure,

Bayelsa has 8 LGA which makes people feel its a small state but Southern Ijaw LGA in Bayelsa is probably the largest in the whole federation.

The terrain in the Niger Delta is very swampy, its below the sea level, for every road construction or major construction the amount of money u'll spend in Bayelsa can give you maybe 5 of similar projects in Kano or so.

I'm not sayin the leaders are prudent, they have a large portion of the blame

lets talk equity and not equality.
