In compliance with the relevant sections of the law, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), would on Thursday, October 27th, 2016, publish the list of nominated candidates to represent Political Parties and also publish the official Register of Voters for the Ondo State governorship election scheduled for Saturday, 26th November 2016. Section 34 of the Electoral Act, 2010 (as amended) provides that INEC should publish the list of nominated candidates by political parties at least 30 days before the day of an election.
