Well, yesterday a meeting was held @ the Abuja Zonal Office. In attendance at the meeting was the Abuja OPSCON, Sarki and his team except Shakur & Mrs. Toweh (Head, Engineering and Standards) who barely has 3 months to leave. Politicians asked him about the recruitment and wanted to forward their candidates but he quickly responded to them saying the recruitment was over. I know some persons here are still making moves through their senators based on the info they get here but I advise them to channel their energy elsewhere because the pressure group have been settled in the first batch.

Can we all now agree that it was a sham from the start, that some characters with sketchy intentions successfully had a field day all up in here, with hearty applause..and that we have learnt something from this charade of an experience. I don't know exactly how sanity will return to this country, but i do know that if we had united, we kinda had an opportunity to do something in this instance, rather than playing to the gallery as planned. How can we be united when everyone is fighting for his/her pocket. I remember vividly how someone said he will counter
every move made to expose the nepotism in the recruitment. I started doubting the whole recruitment immediately the first list came out because I personally knows some people that didn't make it to the interview stage but got APL in the first list. In a normal recruitment, Merit is considered FIRST before any other pressure /stakeholders list. The moment some people keeps saying everything is done to favour merits candidates/hopefuls I knew that they were only insulting our intelligence but I kept my cool. I have been following this thread since day one but I don't usually make any comments. The thing is we will be alright because posterity will judge us all sooner rather than later. You don't take what is not yours and go Scot free. Wherever you are is just a matter of time before nemesis catch up with you. It is well sha..
