Economic diversification simply entails the many sub economies for which citizens find a living earning and contributing to the Aggregate GDP. Now look around u and see the many diversification of the nigerian! It is govt that is not diversified enuff not the economy. Take the GDP and see the many sectoral contributions that needs to be deepened.

The simple question is, what do we export as a nation that generates as much income as crude oil apart from crude oil ofcourse?

Because whether you like it or not, we run a unitary government in Nigeria where the federation units have to look to the center for their daily bread.

The only viable state in my opinion is Lagos. Others are more or less leeches who don't contribute much to the IGR of the country. Excepting the oil producing states.

Apart from oil what else generates money for the government?
