The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (Operator of the NNPC/SHELL/TEPN/AGIP Joint Venture Scholarship Scheme offers students in all Nigerian Universities the opportunity to study with an annual grant from the SPDC JV for the full duration of their course. The scholarship aims to promote academic excellence and improve the skills of young Nigerians.
APPLY FOR 2016/2017 SHELL (SPDC) SCHOLARSHIP HERE

WHO CAN APPLY?

The merit-based scholarship in two categories – the National Merit Award (NM) and the Areas of Operation Merit Award (OM)

National Merit Award (NM) is open to all Nigerians

Areas of Operation Merit Award (OM) is for Nigerians who are indigenes of SPDC’s operational areas in Abia, Bayelsa, Delta, Imo and River States.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS MUST:

Be citizens of Nigeria, currently enrolled in an accredited course in an NUC-approved university in Nigeria,
Have gained admission during the 2015/2016 academic session, and pursuing a first degree programme,
Have a minimum of seven credits, including Mathematics and English, in their O/Levels,
Be enrolled full-time, in a university in Nigeria at the Undergraduate level and must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.5 (attach transcripts or official records).

I'm an old awardee, my advice is that you should forget about the money for now, it takes a long while before they pay but they will surely pay this year. My first payment (last year) came in December 29.

I'm in the same boat also... From unizik economics department....one of their staff called me on 12th of July asking me to submit some other documents. Still no new from them.

.. I got my own letter on August 2nd , 2017 . I submitted the requested documents on August 10, 2017 at shell I.A and i've not gotten any feedback . Although, the Man who attended to Us at the Entrance Gate gave me the fone Number of Mr. Kelechi and he advised me to call him only on working day, inorder to know if my Documents have reached his Desk . I Later got a Text from Shell , stating that i can scan the documents or Send it tru DHL . But i am Wondering if there is any need of Sending the documents via Email since i have already submitted my Documents ?

Hello guys... I am a student of UNIPORT, one of the 2017 awardee of shell scholarship but up till now I have not received my payment. I have also not received any email from shell. My friend in another school have gotten his. Guys, pls who knows what the problem is?

i know its quite long since u posted this but i want to ask, when u applied did u present both ur 1st and 2nd semester result transcripts or just ur 1st semester results, am asking cos i want to apply but my 2nd semester result is not yet out Any ideas
