Shawbabe: The story does not add up. A child of a US citizen is automatically a US citizen irrespective of birth county. Why can't your husband file 1R-1 for you for PR instead of B1:B2 visa? 2 Likes |

You highlighted my comments but ignored the word sometimes. Which means if they have any doubt whatsoever, for clarity sake you may be called for an interview. Nowhere did I say that going for an interview means you will be denied. It's like some of you just wait for the perfect opportunity to bash someone here without reading properly. I have been a part of this thread from part 1 and this will be our second delivery. Your comments seem naive and hastily typed. Should have read and understood me well. isysleek: |

Some useful info for the PTA search.... http://www.businessdayonline.com/cbn-offers-banks-20m-weekly-allocation-invisibles/ https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2017/02/18/cbn-pegs-dollar-rate-for-school-fees-pta-at-n375 I hope these are not just policy statements that wont be implemented by the CBN plus that the banks themselves dispense the money to we that really need it and not use magomago to enrich themselves 1 Like |

ndmum: This Dr. Tate I hear he allows residents do his patient's delivery. I checked him out on Healthgrades...and Emory too didn't have good reviews for their Obstetrics dept. Not to scare you but do your research well. Had my child 2 years in Northside and that place is the best so far, as far as child delivery is concerned in Georgia. |

good day house. please Dh and i are a bit confused and will need opinions on what to do. i renewed my b1/b2 isa via drip box and was emailed to pick up my passport and schedule an appointment for an interview. i filled the forms and all through an agent, only for me to contact him on the infos he filled out and he said he put NY as POE whereas i am going to ATl, he also put that i am staying for 2 weeks and going for vacation.on finding out i was mad at him because i specifically told him to let me know if he needs any answers. now my interview is next week, i have my dr's correspondence from atl and all. we r confused as to what to do. |

I'm sorry you're in this situation. But it beats me why some people still use agents to fill out a form that contains your personal data which you alone know the right and wrong info. These agents would do anything to give you a "higher" chance of getting the visa, even altering the truth and in most cases they put you in deep mess. Anyway, the form has already been signed and submitted. You can let the VO know the actual truth during your interview. Success! Amiableada: 4 Likes |

Hello! Thanks for your comment!! Appreciated!.Well i did a satisfactory research and 90% of his reviews appear positive ( including but not restricted to nairaland mums). I have had my first appointment and I am comfortable with him. On availability to take deliveries, a few mums i met on the Emory hospital tour actually picked him for his reputation of being there for the delivery. People have different experiences i guess, but i am happy to apply the 80/20 principle in this case. This Dr. [/quote] |

Nothing you can do. Get a printout of the form and go for your interview and study it. You don't need an agent for anything. It is assumed that you filled the forms yourself. Amiableada: 2 Likes |

Not true! I used dr. tates in 2014. He delivered bth myslf n my sis in law as our edds were jst a week apart frm each other. Yes he has residents that learns n helps out yle he performs d delivery hmslf but thats about it. Tates is veeeeryyyy good and also very highly respectes at Emory. All d nurses n other docs shake once u say ur Tates's patient. Am preggy again and would like 2 use him again but 4 accommodation constraints. Pls note dt most of ds hosps n docs treat self payin patients difrently frm yankee peeps who r on insurance, kinda like ow in hosps u go here private patients get a better treatmnt dan hmo patients. As such posts abt d docs n hosp may nt exactly b wot u shd b relyin on.lukin at n.y hosps n som nairalanders hav suggested som 2 me with not so good reviews as well.but i knw better dan 2 mek a dcsn based on ds reviews.instd il call up ppl i knw in n.y 2 find out abt d hosp 4 me. If u ask ne1 in atlanta deyl tel u dt emory n northside r d best 2 deliver in. And ds, i can attest to. Shawbabe: 5 Likes |

Good morning Amazing people, I'm an avid reader but silent reader. I've learnt a lot from the members on this forum and I must say - what a treasure trove of information. That said, I'm an early June mom bound for Houston in mid April with my LO and will stay with family. If any mum will be in Richmond about the same time, I'd love to meet and keep boredom at bay. Secondly, has anyone ( pregnant non US citizen) ever travelled with their LO (US citizen) but was denied at POE? Cheers |
