In the book of Daniel chapter 3, King Nebuchadnezzar created an idol and he called all the people, old and young, rich and poor, within his kingdom and he instructed them to bow to his crafted image at the blare of his trumpet, but the 3 Hebrew boys were the only one that wouldn't bow out of the entire gathering, now that begs the question where was Daniel at that time? Because if he was there I know he wouldn't bow also, or did he bow? Please if anyone have an answer I would be grateful. Thanks. Lalasticlala or anyone. OMA4J |

Read from Daniel 6:3 where the King set Daniel above every other prince and President in the kingdom. So Daniel was like Second in command to the king. According to Daniel 2:49 he sat in the gate of the king while the other 3 (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) were rulers of the provinces. Now think about it: As second in command to the king, Daniel would have been sitting right up there in the podium next to the King, and so not required to bow, unlike the other citizens. And I'm sure he refrained from saying anything or defending his colleagues because he knee what his (their) God was capable of doing. 2 Likes 2 Shares |
