We are all aware of the current rancor in Ondo state where Justice Okon -Abang declared Jimoh Ibrahim as the rightful candidate for the PDP inspite of the reconciliation effort between the Markafi led faction and Alimodu Sherrif faction.

I wouldnt want to comment on whether the judgement by Justice Okon Abang or that of the appeal court is justifiable, since that is not the focus of the write up.

South-west consist majorly of 5 state where only Ekiti and Ondo state remained as an opposition state before the current volcanic eruption emanating from the magma of Aso rock caught Ondo state unaware.

The effects of the lava is this,

1. If Akeredolu is forcefully declared winner against the wish of the people, ondo state may boil

2. The great eruption may cause a serious factional group where one will be supporting Jimoh Ibrahim/Buhari's faction and the other Olusegun Mimiko

3. There are strong indications that Olusegun Mimiko may be forced to go back to Labour party or Aliance for Democracy if Eyitayo Jegede eventually lost out

4. In Ekiti state, Governor Fayose may be forced to dump PDP for AD in order to avoid Ondo state drama in 2018

5. In Ogun state, Gbenja Daniel may join force with AD while Senator Kashamu may defect's to APC. Since this two are the major force in Ogun state, their supporter's will be forced to obliged.

6. In Oyo state where Alao-Akala had already defected to APC, with no traceable strong opposition, Ladoja political party may take the centre stage in the state

7. In lagos, Bode George, others may remain as PDP chief but Jimi Agbaje and some young PDP members may form alliance with AD

In all, the southWest zone will be left with only two major party, the AD and the APC where one will be controlled by Afenifere and the other controled by Buhari's faction. PDP will only be limited to south-south and south east. But i can rest assure you that, the volcanic that is causing havoc in south west may soon erupt in other zone using same methodology

Pdp is destroying themselves more by not addressing their issues with wisdom upon d cargoes of party leaders in pdp,they still fail to address their issues within the party.they love to go to d court with a little issue that does not hold any thing. Pdp failed by having 2 factional chairmen as if they will av 2 governors in each state. For u to know Apc is intelligent in their politics they are not selfish and sentimental. It is only the canker worm that want to destroy d party but it won't work cos' they av discover their fault and their hiccups. Up till tomorrow they are still resolving their issues among themselves. First, there are six states in the Southwest, not five.

Second, Eyitayo Jegede will be affirmed as the authentic candidate of the PDP by the court of appeal and he will win the November 26 governorship election.

Third, Mimiko is heading nowhere. He remained committed to the PDP, same as Fayose.
