You see, u come out fuming with all manner of noise, only to expose your ignorance. It is a pity that someone who claims to be educated does not know that money laundering is an offence. For avoidance of doubt, keeping a billion dollars at home IS A FEDERAL OFFENCE! So dont come out to make noise when u have no clue what u are saying ok.

The corrupt judges can name any names they like, they can even claim buhari paid them bribe. But at the end of the day it is mere hearsay without proof. The fact remains they were caught with large sums of money in their custody which they cannot account for. Wen combined with the plethora of petitions against them, even a blind bat can see the handwriting on the wall!

So keeping a billion dollars at home is money laundering? I wonder the kind of education you lots get in that country.

Just to help you so you don't embarrass your self further and possibly in d midst of intellects.

Money laundering is "the crime of moving money that has been obtained illegally through banks and other businesses to make it seem as if the money has been obtained legally"

To educate you further in a manner that would be clear and unambiguous to even an elementary school pupil, the word 'laundering' is the gerund or present participle of the word 'launder' which means to 'wash and iron' ie making something dirty to become clean.

If I decide not to keep my monies in the bank and chose to keep it under my mattress, it's nobody's business and I have not contravened any law.

Be properly guided dude.

Why will he step down. The judges talk is merely an allegation with no atom of proof. Just unverifiable stories. On the other hand, the judges were caught red handed. The anti-graft agencies to investigate amaechi, and if found wanting then he can step down.

But the judges story is also fantastic. As at the time they claim amaechi was bribing them, they had already delivered judgement. So why will someone be bribing u wen u have already delivered judgement than cannot be reversed?? Makes no sense

Are you sure you are the one talking? Or u are under the influence of alcohol... Don't say what u don't know
Re: S’court Justices Under Probe Withdraw From Sittings by Nobody: 9:40am On Oct 31, 2016
Our judiciary must be cleansed of corrupt judges,i won't expect the NBA to welcome back indicted judges with open arms, those found wanting should be stripped of their positions to save our judiciary, which is the last hope of the common man. Kudos to Buhari, for taking it serious.

A very welcome development. That has been what we have been clamouring for over the time. If at the end of the investigation, they are clean then they can resume sitting.
I pray Saraki should follow suit

Also pray danladi Umar do so. You see, our policy is for the opposition. The NBA has never ask danladi or buratati to step down. The help buhari go Scot free on the certificate issue. Let's think deeply and see.

We have to fast for the retrieval of your .....
So what about the people they alleged to have attempted to bribe them? The likes of Amaechi, Onu etcetera are working free in the society right? why don't you call for their withdrawal from the executive council for proper investigation? Hypocrite

They've started "receiving sense" gradually- we pray they continue to do so.

Glad we have a leader with balls of steel, otherwise, the vicious opposition to their fight against corruption coming from certain quarters would have made him jettison the noble course a long time ago.

In Baba I trust.

In Nigeria I believe.
Shame, tell Amaechi and Onu to resign too, they have been accused for breaching public trust (attempt to bribe just to pervade the justice).

This is good news. We are moving into DEMOCRACY gradually.

Lootocracy and Bribocracy are sinking!

Justices must be just, not crooked!

Even raising the issue of amaechi further indicts the judges. It means politicians have been coming to them secretly and they didnt bother to report such, which is another violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct. Even if the amaechi story is true, it doesnt absolve the judges of this particular crime.
Indicting the judges does not absolve Amaechi in any way too. What happened to the saying "What is good for the goose is good for the gander" ?
Amaechi, Buratai, Dambazzau and Saraki should take same honourable step.

i hate to break it to you, but you are the one who truly knows nothing. if you honestly think having money in your house (also mere allegations at this stage as there has been no proof presented by the dss) is proof of any illegality or money laundering for that matter, then i can only feel sorry for the nigerian educational system which has clearly failed you.

Very good this is how its supposed to be. A thief cannot be judge.
is this the way forward? They are still accused until efcc and the FG prove them guilty, meanwhile Amaechi has not stepped down despite all the accusations against him, also Ngwutu in his letter maintained that he intimated the CJN about the bribe inducement from Amaechi, the CJN must verify this claim cos he has been implicated, thanks.

Do you think you are addressing kids? The allegations against the judges are also mere allegations. You said they were caught red handed, red handed doing what, collecting bribe? It's not a crime for you to have a billion dollars in your house, it becomes a crime if the money was gotten through illegal means and so far, this has not been established against the judges.
Have you ever heard of money laundering?

Withdrawing voluntrily from sittings doesnt mean suspension. They still go to work, receive complete salary and benefits. It also means they can resume anytime even next week on their own choice. So far, dss doesnt have anything against them. You and I wouldnt even know when they have resumed sittings as this is a way to cool off the publicity and attention. Well played our lordships.

I hope they are restored if not guilty: na so the Clueless one refused to re-absorb Ayo Salami even when the court has declared him innocent. Anything goes in Nigeria.
