Even raising the issue of amaechi further indicts the judges. It means politicians have been coming to them secretly and they didnt bother to report such, which is another violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct. Even if the amaechi story is true, it doesnt absolve the judges of this particular crime.

Indicting the judges does not absolve Amaechi in any way too. What happened to the saying "What is good for the goose is good for the gander" ?

Withdrawing voluntrily from sittings doesnt mean suspension. They still go to work, receive complete salary and benefits. It also means they can resume anytime even next week on their own choice.
