This is perhaps one of those news we all never saw coming. As shocking as it may appear to many, especially the die-hard fans of the RnB/Pop singer , it’s so real and happening.

MTN Project Fame winner and “Kukere” hall of fame act Iyanya who at the beginning of the rise in his career many thought owned Made Men Music Group, (a.k.a Triple MG) obviously because of how he carried and nurtured the unknown infant label to what it became two years later, but our bubbles were all busted months back when the already big name in the Nigerian music scene Iyanya made a rather unbelievable revelation on his instagram that he’s quiting Triple MG to float his own label.

Days later he signed a management deal with an international management team Temple Management.

Whilst we all were still waiting on him to float his own label and hopefully build his own music empire, the bigger shocker came in just this morning that is the singer’s birthday when super producer and Mavin Records (a.k.a Supreme Mavin Dynasty) Don Jazzy boss made the announcement on his instagram page that Iyanya has joined the likes of Korede Bello, Tiwa Savage, Dr. Sid, D’Prince, Reekado Banks, D’ija and others on the top class music label.

“The SUPREME MAVIN DYNASTY is pleased to welcome @Iyanya to the ever growing Mavin Family. Pls join us to welcome him and let the world know that we #Up2Sumting. #MavinActivated”

Following the announcement are mixed reactions from fans, as many thought Iyanya is too big to own his own label instead of signing under any already established local label, some also thought he owned artistes like Tekno, Selebobo under his former label Triple MG (now apparently owned and run by Ubi Franklin), and a few applauded his decision.
