A young Nigerian named Ekomobong Finbarr happens to manufacture a tricycle (Keke) which is powered with Solar. According to his facebook profile, he Studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Federal University of Technology Owerri. His brother named Aniekeme Finbarr Ukpong took to his facabeok to share some photos of the solar powered tricycle saying: I am very proud of my younger brother, Ekomobong Finbarr. Over the past few weeks, he has painstakingly produced and defended this solar powered tricycle (Keke) as his first degree project in partial fulfillment for the award of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Federal University of Technology, (FUTO), Owerri. No engine, just battery and the solar system and can go 11km without blinking. His lecturers were completely stunned that he could pull this through. His Head of Department, Mr. Damian Dike with his colleague Dr. Mrs. Achumba enjoyed the first cruise of the Keke. Congratulations brother! Check out the Photos below..
