Assume Delta, Edo, Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross Rivers, Akwa Ibom all agree to join the East in a new country, given population strenght, homogeneity and domineering attitude, who do think will produce President in the "new country" for the next 1,000 years? Igbos Sir. Niger Deltans will be sidelined and silenced. We won't be foolish to join such a union.

Who started military coup in Nigeria? Igbo soldiers. When it was retaliated they cried foul and sought to break the unity of Nigeria which the government resisted. Don't turn history upside down. Igbos are too domineering. They can't live peacefully with others without plotting ways to take their properties/wealth whether by hook or crook. This has been the problem and the main reason Niger Deltans will never support your struggle.
When it comes to name calling Major Chukwuma Nzegwu becomes Igbo, when it comes to who is Igbo, Anioma are not Igbos, championed by people like you.... Hypocrisy, the problem of Nigeria from time immemorial.

I doubt if these people are truly the Niger delta leaders. Oil blocs for what? Oil blocs will only leave u with few billionaires here and there. Even if they give 50 to 100 Niger deltans oil blocs, my conclusion is that...the life of average person in Niger delta region would not change.

Why not request for fiscal federalism with highly competitive units. And this is where I blame the citizens of this country. Our main problem is the concoction in Abuja and the youths are keeping quiet, worst-still, placing all their hopes on one old man with dust in the brain. I weep for my country

your elders have taken the right step into securing THEY and THEIR Children's future, except your father is one of those elders, nothing is coming your way.

Some of you still don't realise how these old men play, any youth who thinks these grandpa's give a rat's asss about the younger generation must not know Jack about politics.

Na today heads of state begin dey meet with ND 'elders'? What have the past meetings borne?

The elders of today are not the voices of the youth, they speak for themselves solely, so you better find how to arrange your own Aso Rock meeting because those grandpas just mortgaged your future for a plate of porridge
Hmmm.....so which of the demands dat where outlined in the above article are u against.

Just look at them, a bunch of shameless people who call themselves leaders of the Niger Delta. Ojukwu was fighting to release them from Northern domination.

They said they fear Igbo domination.

Now, they are going cap in hand to beg a Hausa/Fulani President for the resources on their own land.

Ojukwu must be laughing in his grave

When we preach collectivism una go preach individualism, the chicken is finally coming home to roost.
The ND elders are simply saying they are comfortable with OYEL blocks to some selfish long distance relatives who cant even practice what they preach.

President Buhari, please give them 100 percent and sit back and see how they will destroy themselves.

...and they have Governors in these States.these people are idiots.

Airhead, what value does your erosion plagued land offers to Nigeria? And your Greedy and thieving leaders?

Pesin say him no want, na by force? And you're proving him right already showing your domineering attitude like a dunce.

Stating your opinion in an assertive and arrogant manner only makes you look silly.

Is Nzogwu not a Niger Deltan? Which Niger Delta support are you talking about? Are there no Igbo in Niger Delta? Are some parts of Niger Delta not parts of the defunct Biafra?
The moment you try to claim to be from Niger Delta, but your brain couldn't carry out the simple task of defending it.

Gentlemen, I am sure that you are aware the the first coup led by Nzeogwu too place in January 1966.

I am sure you are also aware that Nzeogwu was from Okpanam (An Anioma community close to Asaba in Delta state).

I am sure you triplets know that Delta state was created in 1991 and that Okapanam (Anioma land) was joined with parts of Bendel state to form Delta state.

Now is it that you trio forgot that Okpanam was formally part of present day Anambra state (Igbo land) before they were sliced of (Anioma) to form Delta state?

Why are you people trying to rewrite history with lies?
Re: Niger Delta Leaders To Buhari: We Want Oil Blocs by Guyman02: 4:17pm On Nov 02, 2016
Na so? You are begging to have what God freely gave to you at your backyard? Have you now realized that you are a slave? I thought that Igbo man was your problem and wanted to dominate or steal your oil in 1967

The South West used their media control to fool them for years, now their eyes have opened as the youths have access to internet where they see a Tailor become a billionaire for owning an oil block licence in their land while their own daughter who rose to the rank of Director in Shell is being hounded for purchasing jewelries.

It's so annoying the way some of our leaders think.. if you give these people better oil money, huge gas contracts and an oil station to start with and 10 oil blocks each, believe me you, they'll turn their backs on their people! angry angry angry .. Why beg when you can grab what belongs to you! Old men who want to sell our futures for nothing! We want BIAFRA!
