Weeks after news surfaced on various media platforms that the Godwin Enakhena led board of Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos, has been dissolved, the team has appointed a new director. The process InsideMainland gathered is due to the ongoing restructuring process in the team.
The new Team Director, Mr. Emmanuel Adeyemi, as appointed by the General overseer of the church, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, will henceforth represent the team worldwide and take charge of the responsibility of running affairs of the club.
According to an insider who spoke to InsideMainland, the Godwin Enakhena led management team was dissolved few weeks ago but the announcement of the new board was delayed pending the time the change was effected at the Secretariat of the League Management Company, LMC.
In his words, “the General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, met with the team before the resumption of the new season and a decision was taken to dissolve the board. Though no one had an idea who the new Chairman would be, the announcement of new board was delayed due to the paper work with the LMC.”
