Hello nairalanders, i need your honest views on my first car. i was offered Audi A3 2001 (5 Cylinders, hand acceleration function, 1.8 engine capacity, 6 months locally used) at a great price. As a novice your advice will be appreciated. Feel free to recommend other brands (model specific) if you feel this wouldn't be a good buy, as i only need a car with good fuel economy & low maintenance cost for mostly trips within the city and sometimes to neigbouring states. My budget is 800k max.

Good ride, but be ready to service with original parts.

Good car, very athletic on the road. Service properly after buying, tell your mech to check for sludge. Was looking for this car earlier this year to use as knockabout but no dice
