The Ali Modu Sheriff PDP faction have began attempts to shop for loyal Appeal Court judges who will hear the appeal against the judgement many believe they purchased from controversial Justice Okon Abang of Abuja Federal High Court. A source close to Senator Ali Modu Sheriff has told LeadersNG that the Sheriff’s faction are confident of getting a favourable Appeal Court Panel. The source said the faction of the party have made peersonal contacts with the president of the Court of Appeal and things will work in their favour. A presidential source has also told LeadersNG that the president will back the Ali Modu Sheriff and will help to ensure they win at the Appeal Court. www.leadersng.com |
