having a crush on an inlaw is not a sin. we all are human, it just happens that the law of physics has come into play, where negative forces attract, it might not really be negative, there just might be something alluring, tempting or captivating about a person's character or charisma or appearance that one may find attractive. in a situation where u find urself nursing a crush on your inlaw here are some tidbits to help overcome it. afterall your inlaw is a human being being married to his/her relative doesnt make your mind immune to attraction. *avoid situations /iscussions that are personal *avoid being in lonely places with the person *always bear in mind that you are married to his/her brother *try and figure out something about him that u really dont like and capitalize on it *dont tell your spouse about your feelings *above guide your heart with all deligence cuss out of it are the issues of life. *pray. |

I have the EXACT SAME ISSUE NOW! Met a close family friend/in-law recently- and I thought he was sexy fron the moment I saw him. But to me, its nature to NOTICE an attractive man or woman. The problem is , it is now a crush that sneaks into my thoughts at all times of the day. So I am sure to be very brief and reserved when I am around him, and I usually go the other direction when he is around-or I think of bible scriptures or pray when my imagination starts thinking of inappropriate things.  I DO feel guilty for having this crush- and I would advise anyone to NEVER EVER EVER mention it to ANYONE.  Crushes happen- its life- and as long as no one acts on it, or verbalizes it- they REMAIN INNOCENT and NO HArm done. imo |
