Pursuit Of Happiness by HOLYSEE(m): 1:32am On Nov 07, 2016 |
We have been created to yearn for happiness even if it would cost others theirs, as odd as it may sound there is too much unhappiness in the world because everybody wants to be happy at all cost. We all want to make money, have a perfect family and a good career/job, in all, we want a perfect life, and anyone who stands in our way must be booted. I am not against the notion of craving for happiness but this article is to bring us to the point of what if it didn’t turn out as we’ve imagined and fantasised. I would humbly say in my experience dealing with different temperament and psyche I can authoritatively say we all respond to unhappiness the same, no matter how you would love to deny it we always have God to either blame or accuse. The title of this article was inspired from a movie I watched some years ago starred by Will Smith playing the Character of Chris Gardener----it’s a true-life story. I was privilege to here Chris Gardener speak and I was wondering why would God allow a man go through such a mess before allowing him to breath relief, was it necessary to push him that much to the wall? I remember answering myself if he didn’t go through that ordeal his story wouldn’t have been inspiring me and in turn inspiring this piece. I am writing this piece to that person who is asking God why am I going through all these, what have I done wrong or why did put me in this family?-----pause---wait a minute somebody is envying you somewhere, my concern is how are you going to cope with your today that seem like hell. Everything seem to be crashing, you even want to give excuse for God but still all your hope were still shattered and it seem as if God took a vacation on your life. I remember in my second year in the University everything was just so bad for me a young teenager that I was left to feed on palm oil and salt just imagine how crazy my stomach would have been but that phase of my life ushered me into a realm of my life that I would always thank God for, do I still have challenges, of course bigger one at that but I have learn to sulk it in and smile so that I can inspire another person to live at least one more day. Your peculiarity is not strange to God it means there is a lot of potential in you that’s why you are passing through that phase of your life. If you are born into a no wealthy family it’s because you are being prepared to be a wealthy person who knows what it is to be poor, probably you are pregnant by mistake and it seem your world is crashing WAIT there is a plan of God for your life or you have been molested MY O MY it could be that you will become a voice in your generation, are you at present hungry reading my piece to pass time, hold on an Idea that would make you never be hungry again would soon hit you. At a point in our life, God may seem cruel but I want you to give him the benefit of the doubt until we meet him face to face then we can ask him WHY but for now DON’T QUIT ON THE WORLD WE ARE LOOKING UP TO YOU. |
