First and foremost, this is not Oshodi.
This looks more like Ikorodu Road.
Secondly, The problem is that the major bus they are used to here are the LAGBUS and BRT.
Govt. banned the LAGBUS from using the BRT lane so the drivers went on strike.
If anyone tells you that this crowd is caused by 10% hike in TP fare would you really believe it?
10% of 100 is 10
10% of 200 is 20
Tell me, how this difference can make people going to work on a monday morning to hang around.

i was affected. A journey that usually costs me 270 naira cost me 650 naira....i had to use bike for 80% of my journey.

Reports reaching us indicate that thousands of commuters are currently left stranded in Oshodi area of Lagos State.

This was made known in the pictures shared on the Twitter handle of @Gidi_Traffic this morning.

The commuters are left stranded following the sudden hike in transportation fare. Some of the affected commuters say the drivers increased fare by almost 10%, and compounding the problem for them are BRT buses that are not working today.

This is ikorodu, not even 10% increment, twas almost 500% increment. I got to ojota from ikorodu @ 400naira dis morning. It used to be 100naira
