Wizkid is the Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2016.
The award ceremony took place in Ahoy Rotterdam Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands, this morning 8 hours ago
The announcement was done via the MTV Base Africa twitter page ahead of the show.
The singer beat African heavyweights including Black Coffee and Cassper Nyovest from South Africa, Olamide andAli Kiba of Tanzania.
Only last month, the 26-year-old music star also won Best African Act at the MOBO Awards.
