The soldiers who fought for us
On the blind hills of hiding danger ,
Should be revered as the man on the cross
For they delivered our safety in a manger.


The soldiers who fought for us
Crawling through forest watered by colleagues' blood:
Who ran into bleeding bullets of enemy force,
Are the ones who loved and saved the world.


The soldiers who fought for us
Leaving leisure and pleasure for torture,
Dousing Flaming fire they didn't cause,
Are those whose worship should be nurtured.


The soldiers who fought for us,
While we pleasure and moan at night
Whose spouses count and mourn their loss,
Are the ones we should love with our might.
