Massive Repeat In Oyo State Secondary Schools. by amurx(m): 8:13pm On Nov 09, 2016
Just three weeks ago there was a topic that was posted on nairaland about student of Isale Oyo Grammer school setting their school ablaze as a result of massive failure.

Just today in Igbeti the students of all government secondary schools in the town face massive demotion. It was gathered that the circular of the said promotion and demotion list came from the state government.
This list is contrary to the one those schools used to promote them before, as most of those promoted was demoted back while few who did not make it to SS3 before miraculously got promoted. In one of the secondary schools where the population of the student were 150+ only 52 got promoted and in another school of 117 population only 17 students got promoted to ss3, even the prefects got demoted.
Could this be due to the state government not wanting to subsidize their ssce exam fees??
