Governor Abubakar Badaru is set to construct 90 mosques in Jigawa as 78 construction companies have submitted bids for the contracts. Alhaji Muhammad Musa, Chairman, Tender Board Committee for the project, made this known in a statement on Thursday in Dutse. Muhammad, also the Permanent Secretary, Administration and Finance, Office of the Secretary to the State Government, said that three mosques would be constructed in each of the 30 constituencies of the state. Wonderful ! Just 90? He should add more, because the country needs prayers and not some upgraded learning/research institutions. |
