The number of Nigerian players playing for big European clubs keeps increasing and their checks also seem to be getting fact. here is a list of the 8 highest paid Nigerian players in the world.


8. Odion Ighalo – £30,000 ($38,000) weekly

Odion Ighalo joined the list of Nigerian players who go home with a fat check. Since joining Watford FC in 2014, he has seen an upward surge in his salary. He currently earns about $38,000 on a weekly basis.


7. Alex Iwobi – £30,000 ($38,000) weekly

The young starlet and super Eagles player, Alex Iwobi goes home with $38,000 weekly in wages. We see his salary experiencing an upward surge in the coming seasons.


6. Emmanuel Emenike – £45,000 ($56,000)
