What does it feel like to be the daughters of the richest black man on the planet? That’s a question many folks around the world will be dying to have an answer to. If you’re thinking such lucky girls would be arrogant and puffed-up, then you need to think again.

Mariya, Fatima and Halima are the daughters of billionaire industrialist, Aliko Dangote, but if you meet them, you wouldn’t know their father is so wealthy. The girls are so down- to-earth and courteous that many marvel at the wonderful upbringing they must have had.

Unlike many silver spoon kids of their ilk who are brash and paint the social scene in a variety of colours, the Dangote girls prefer to keep a low profile.

Halima is a graduate of Marketing from the American Intercontinental University, London, and Webster Business School, London. She’s married to Kano-based Sulaiman Sani Bello and they have two beautiful daughters. She currently works with her father as a ‘strategist.’


On the other hand, Fatima is into confectionaries, and she sits atop the Cupcake Factory. Meanwhile, Mariya has a Master’s Degree from Conventry University.
