This little information should not be taken for mockery or granted rather join hands to support our military, forget the fact a soldier humilated you, He only corrected you. Remember everyone was not trained equal, right from our homes, so never expect same treatment from all soldiers...
please Help !!!

Sanitize The Army Now.

Its so unfortunate that almost all serving Nigerian soldiers has a sympathetic story to tell about the self acclaimed "Noble Profession".

Have always been a fan of the Army since childhood and wished to be a military personnel when am grown because of the discipline and sacrifice for humanity, but my encounter with some wounded soldiers at the 44 Reference Military Hospital Kaduna killed my interest.

Whats noble about an organisation that has no insurance for its serving personnel's thoughtless of the wounded or falling soldiers in battle field?

Nigeria has been faced with different act of terrorism for the past seven years and not even for one day has the government talked about the welfare of soldiers who fearlessly confront the enemy face to face rather you condemn and court marshal them in the name of mutiny and cowardice and subject their wives and children to abject poverty.

No wonder you see soldiers every morning in front of Bonny, Ojo, Ikeja military cantonments in Lagos begging for lift despite the huge sum of Naira allocated to defence ministry from the annual budget.

Take a walk in an Army barracks and see how dilapidated the structures are, her personnel's are made to purchase military kits (uniforms, boot, etc) out of the less than #50.000 monthly salary and you expect them to survive with wife and children.

You want the order ranks (Non commissioned officers) to adopt attitudinal change yet the commissioned officers ridicule them before their families and civilian's, if not why make a soldier either by threat or lobby your slave in the name of "Bath Man" when you are entitled to Personnel Savers Allowance (PSA).

You buy flits of cars yearly and build houses worth more than your 35years of service salary and allowances put together and an order rank cant afford a Motor cycle thoughtless of building a bungalow.

You favour your loyalist with promotion and create hatred among the order ranks yet you expect them to be discipline.

Why not emulate the Western standard Army like the US, German, Israeli and even our colonial masters Great Britain and see if our combatant soldiers who restored peace to Liberia, Serria Leon, Sudan respectively and see if ours wont be rated the best in the World.

Please pass it on till it get to the COAS table, rather the world's table.
