I'm of the impression that u have a fungal infection. Though, superinfection by bacteria must be ruled out. The history of chronicity, itching and non-response to earlier treatment(with possible anti-bacterial cream) is suggestive of it. In any case, I suggest that you procure an anti-fungal cream like clotrimazole and apply it liberally at the site.

If there is no improvement in symptoms after five days, pls consult your dermatologist.

@ joshuapharm and brimmie,..I had a swollen left testicle in 2010 along side a penile disharge,I went for urine microscopy nd swap,it ws diagnosed to be moderate growth of staphilococous aureus..took sum antibiotics/injections nd de testicle reduced to normal size but I still feel a node @ de tip of de left testicle and de discharge refused to stop,tho I only see de discharge wen having a bowel movement,.symptoms like urgency to urinate,weakness and fever still persists.

2ndly,..a fwend has hermmorides/pile,..doctor said it hs passed de stage of drugs,it must be removed by surgery,..is der ny drug dat can treat piles for good?

a swollen left 'scrotal sac' can b due hydrocoele, hernia, acute epididymorchitis etc. the first 2 needs operation whl the last goes with antibiotics nd pain killers. urethral discharge is mainly due to UTI nd Staph aureus is not a common causative agent. u may still be hving UTI or STI. No drug 'cures' haemorrhoids. go back to hospital for evalution of the said 'node' nd discharge

My cousin suffered from partial stroke in 2008, then he was diagnose of hypertension with BP of 180/100,he is on anti-hypertensive therapy, but he complains to me that when ever he is tensed up,angry, talking in-front of large crowd, his pulse rate increases and he feels uncomfortable. Am 29 and married. Had my first baby at 2012 Through C.S because my BP was a bit high.
then after three month of delivery i had my period for two months, it lasted only two days and it was scanty too
After Then i have not seen it again. i went to see a gyn and she gave me coc pils.Because she refused to tell me what it does i did not take it. pls what do i do to get my period back?

Few days ago i started having a gummy discharge i used to have anytime am ovulating.

note: when i was pregnat i was not eating well cos i lost appetite

Balogun: The medical course is an easy course. Medicine itself is all common sense. Remember common things are common. The problem students find with medicine is the volume of work. I have a daughter who is doing medicine at the moment in Edinburgh University. That is her main complaint. Medical students seem to remember the rare causes of illnesses without mentioning the common things. Read little and often and dont leave it until the week before the exams
