Kufuor was said to have been flown to South Africa for medical attention after complaining of an excruciating pain on his spinal cord. A former President of Ghana, John Kufuor, has been reported dead. According to Vanguard which cited New Mail and Reuters, Kufuor died in Johannesburg, South Africa on Tuesday morning, November 15, following a spinal surgery. Kufuor was said to have been flown to South Africa for medical attention after complaining of an excruciating pain on his spinal cord. A team of doctors were said to have conducted a second surgical operation on Mr Kufuor’s spine; but unfortunately, he passed away just after 45 minutes of the Surgery, the report said. Born John Kofi Agyekum Kufuor on December 8, 1938, he was a retired Ghanaian politician and statesman who served as President of Ghana from 2001 to 2009. source http://www.godwingist.com/2016/11/former-president-of-ghana-reported-dead.html
