Never one to back down under pressure, boxer Floyd Mayweather isn't quite standing in fear at a challenge from UFC champion Conor McGregor, even as he just won the UFC 205 in dominant fashion against Eddie Alvarez.
Mayweather shrugged off the suggestions, even laughing them off at one point.


"I'm an elephant so why would I fight an ant like McGregor," Mayweather said. "I hadn't even realised he had fought.
If you are insinuating McGregor is the Mayweather of MMA, I have no idea what you are talking about," he insisted. "It is a lack of respect to compare me to him.
"The elephant is so big he doesn't even see the ant."
