So what do you expect his family to do? Denounce their own father/husband? Please! In this Africa where respect is everything, people like you would even flame them more for 'disrespecting' their breadwinner.

I don't care whether his family knows he's a thief or not. And i never even made that assertion. All i know is, we do not know for sure. A court of law has found the man guilty of theft, and that's as far as the blame goes. It's up to the EFCC to recover the funds if they choose to. Slinging insults at his family does no good.

It is this kind of mentality that allows the Nigerian police to arrest and detain aged parents of suspects. And it's wrong!

Hakeem Babalola, you have to watch what you write. How dare you parody the life of an accomplished officer and gentleman in such a ridiculous manner?

Chief George is down today courtesy of the injustice perpetrated by a terrorist judge Oyewole whose specilaties is sentencing Nigeria's best to prison. We should not rejoice over such iniquities. probably with the exception of a few like you who are abroad and uninformed of goings on, a majority of Nigerian are dissatisfied with that judgement and have been trooping to ikoyi prison to give chief their support.

What is more? The appeal court will certainly quash this injustice and if not, Chief George will consider his unjust incarceration as an underserved price he has to pay as a leader of Nigeria and a gallant officer. our great leader and father of modern Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo went through the same experience and ended up being Nigeria's president with two terms.
