Just saw this on facebook now. A Nigerian footballer, Harrison Chinedu has set a new Guinness World Record the AFP News agency reports. Chinedu in Lagos, Nigeria, set a new World Record for distance traveled on a bicycle with a football on the head - 103.6 km. In rare show of determination and skill, Chinedu was able to navigate the above distance with a ball placed in the center of his head. The Cambodia-based footballer set the record after walking from the Redemption camp on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, which is a total distance of 48.08km, on March 6. The previous record was held by an Indian soldier, Naib Singh who walked a total distance of 45.64km with a ball on his head in his country in 2014. |
