Nigerian Scammers, Why??? by Nobody: 4:41am On Nov 22, 2016 |
I came across this video on YouTube and I was feeling really heartbroken. I always see news about scammers getting caught but after I watched this video I was seriously sad and angry and wouldn't mind the life sentence for these bastards. I'm just wondering how someone could be so heartless and devoid of emotion to do something like this. Taking advantage of such a depressed, lonely woman who could possibly commit suicide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyJiV1rk2sA My question now is, what do you think we can do as well meaning Nigerian citizens to get rid of this negative stereotype? I think it's a very serious issue that we have to address. In fact, the comments under the video were chilling, foreigners venting their anger and hatred towards Nigerians as well as enough jokes ridiculing Nigerians. When my friends over there tell me the 'Nigerian Prince' jokes anytime we talk, I usually just dismiss it and laugh along but watching this video made me know how serious an issue it is. . . 1 Like |

those that engage in such crime are emotionally dead, all they care about is their pocket. they don't care about the backlash other innocent Nigerians will suffer due to their actions. |

dotman4real007:honestly, its so terrible. to think that he took her life savings away with the promise of a better life which meant she'd finally be escaping decades of depression, only to shatter her dreams. I wonder what we can do to crackdown on things like this 1 Like |

Tell your leaders to return loots to the country Provide jobs Okin biscuit the family spice is not producing anything, why can't they buy it and restart production? Osogbo steel rolling, Why's it defunct? Peugeot assembly plants what happened to it? Nigerian rubber mills where Dunlop Elite tires were produced, where's it today? . I don't blame youths, if I had a boss, I'd be a scammer too It's not a good thing to say neither should anyone be proud of it, but it's better than armed robbery and its proceeds are tiny compared to what Obanikoro and Fayose shared just one day #HonestTruth 3 Likes |

I don't think it can be stop cos the "get rich quick" syndrome" is already entrenched in many youths so even if govt provides jobs, they will still look for an avenue to make bulk money. Plus the society needs to starts scrutinizing one's source of income and not celebrate those who seem rich without any concrete source of riches... 1 Like |

the leaders who are looting billions and buying multi billion dollar mantions around the world should be investigated first, they are the real yahoo people infact theirs is worse coz they do noit even need the laptop to work....... Even buhari himself cannot swear to be clean of fraud, all the whole money recovered since he assumed office, most especially the one from mtn and others of public knowledge have been gracefully swept under the rug......so the saga continues, any working boy who can make his way and not get caught, please sail on, moreover the colonial masters should return all our resources they took offf, or whats left off it peace!!! |

Nma27:Yes. . . the get rich syndrome is very dangerous. . . it exists in the form of all these MMM and icharity bullshit. . . . and its because of poverty. But, why Nigeria? India has a higher poverty rate than Nigeria and they're not known worldwide for crime, instead, they're known for technical support when it comes to anything computers, etc |

power900:Yes, the leaders should he investigated. . .instead of our youths to stage protests against corruption, we stage #IStandWith[InsertCorruptPoliticianHere] The youths who engage in these fraudulent activities are giving us a bad name, Nigerians are discriminated abroad and not easily trusted and its really painful |
