ASUU Has Disagree On "Earned Allowances" As Strike Ends Today by ajwhirlwind: 10:25am On Nov 22, 2016
The Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) couldn't concur on Earned Allowance because of teachers notwithstanding the Senate's intercession, a circumstance which constrained the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETfund to deferred the peace meeting it gathered uncertainly. The yesterday's meeting led by Senator Jibrin Barau had in participation the national initiative of ASUU drove by I'd national president, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi; the official secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof. Abubakar Rasheed; and the chief general of the National Pension Commission (PenCom), Mrs. Chinelo Anohu-Amazu, among others.

The meeting finished at around 8.20pm the previous evening without an unequivocal determination even as the one-week cautioning strike set out upon by ASUU since last Wednesday will end today. more@: http://www.gistarising.com/2016/11/ASUU-has-disagree-on-earned-allowances.html

So the strike continues. Students who have read... Or are preparing for exams would halt.....

Nigeria and strike... Plus wickedness and a little spice of curroption.... Makes a nice meal every time in the news.

Most labour leaders in Nigeria have betrayed the people who they represent. When parents fail to defend the children when presented with the opportunity, can such parents be justified.
