That means you'll track them tire my bros, Adult snakes don't leave in colonies. It is very possible these ones were either a male and female or were escaping harsh weather condition into residential areas were they met their end.

My neighbours told me they saw a snake enter my compound this week so I couldn't leave my family alone in the Compound to work till I find it. They couldn't chase it in cause I had the gate locked when they were tryna kill it. Hopefully I will find it or better still it left my compound by now
