In what appears a loss of confidence in the economic think tank of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Wednesday advised Buhari to look within and without Nigeria for economic experts who can fix the economy for him within a short peiod of time.

Obasanjo who spoke on Wednesday in Lagos said time is running out on the country, saying “We have people inside and outside who can be brought together to help device the right economic policy and programme to get us out of the pit before we fall over the precipice into a dark cave.”

The occasion where he spoke on Wednesday was the First Annual Lecture of Akintola Williams Foundation while the theme was: Nigeria, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow: Governance and Accountability.

He advised President Buhari to stop complaining about the misdeed of past leaders, saying that was why the government changed to allow another person fix Nigeria’s problem.
