Leo Mezie, yes God healed you. But the fact is that you were on either adulterated medication in Nigeria or werent looking at your blood pressure. I am certainly sure the European doctors have put you on Angiotensin Receptor Blockers or Angiotensin Converting Enzymes tablets. Any one of this class of medications would quickly HALT the decline of your renal function as they serve the two purposes of blood pressure control and kidney protection. Make sure you stick to your medications. Ask your doctor in Nigeria to write a prescription of the same medication when they are about to run out. Send the prescription to a friend or relation in Europe or US to help u get them. This is to make sure you dont risk buying the counterfeit in Nigeria. I wish u well. |

AyakaDunukofia: If such medications exist, why did my 3 friends lose their lives to the disease in Nigeria? They were being treated by the best doctors. |

I blame his sickness on dullard Buhari. Only God knows how many Nigerians that this thoughtless president has caused kidney problem with his recession. The air in Nigeria is polluted with recession and that is why everyone that leaves this country returns refreshed. Our senate should do the needful and impeach that man. |

laudate: Others factors could be at play in their respective cases, like I earlier said, poor blood pressure control and fake mefications. If the Chronic Kidney Disease was at End Stage, that is minus/plus 15 percent kidney function, the doctors would at this stage recomend transplant while the patient remains on dialyses. In most cases these patients might not be able to afford the regular required number of dialysis to keep their system clean. And they die. Therefore, if they waited till their kidneys deteriorate to 15 percent, ARB or ACEs might not be of great help. But there are documented cases where this class of medications halted the decline of kidneys functioning at 20 percent. Finally, blood pressure medications works differently on different people. Many would try diffetent types and may not find one that will bring down their blood pressure. The lucky patients that happens to get the ones that works for them get saved. 1 Like |

VickyRotex: Well, he could lie but the secret will come out one day. Talk about the money, if the guy is genuine and have a good heath, by now we ought to have read a news where it says that he used the many donations to provide help to the needy he met at the hospital. Tell you what, there is more to it than he is telling us. Is either is was a staged scam or he is just greedy and selfish. |

This is good news but the miraculous healing could be as a result of wrong diagnosis which is not uncommon in Nigeria. Some years back while driving on the highway, all the objects I was seeing became double which obviously affected my driving. Same day, I visited the Ophthalmology unit of LUTH and was the consultant said I needed to do a Phytollactic cryotherapy which also involved some surgery. According to the consultant the only hospital equipped with the facility at that time was UCH Ibadan. I was very sceptical about having the surgery and treatment in Nigeria since my eyes were involved so I proceeded to an eye hospital at Braunschweig, Germany armed with the medical report from LUTH. After series of tests, the German doctors concluded that the surgery and treatment were not needed. I was given some drugs and everything normalised within 2 days 1 Like |

kitombo: Chai...sometimes I wish I belong to every department. This your case is how almost every department is in Nigeria, we are very lazy and un intelligent. I do electronics and I try as much to perfect in it. Many other guys condenms what I do put back to life. If I had gone through the medical field, may be I would do better than most doctors. Science has to do with cause and effect, but most people only concentrate on the effect. The double vision may not have anything to do with your eye at all but most docs here will keep looking inside the eye. |

kitombo: Thank God you had the wisdom, foresight and funding to seek a 2nd opinion abroad. Can you imagine what would have happened if you had taken the 1st doctor's advice and gone for surgery? I have always said it before, that wrong diagnosis, lack of care (especially in emergency cases) and downright negligence on the part of medical personnel, have sent more people to their graves in Nigeria, than the actual disease itself. |

celestialAgent: Haba don't conclude just yet. Maybe there's more to it, we wouldnt know for sure. It's possible he even had to spend all of that on treatment. Also you wouldn't know if he had plans to donate the rest to the needy, would you? Giving is not showing off. He probably doesnt want people to know he did that. I still think he deserves some form of respect for atleast saying the truth. |
Re: Leo Mezie: "There Was No Need For Transplant, My Kidney Began To Heal Itself" by celestialAgent(m): 5:10pm On Nov 25, 2016 |
VickyRotex: Are you kidding? Did you say "He probably doesnt want people to know he did that." We are not talking about his personal money, it is the money people donated to aid his survival, hence people deserve to know how the money was spent so as not to deter them from further helping should another needy surface. Note: I'm not hating, I just feel it is proper so as not to discourage donators.. And for the treatment, didn't he say the healing was all natural / miraclous!!! C'mon!!!! The nigga is probably flexing the cheddar, |
