This is the driving force behind the sensitization walk of PET CDs Ado-Ekiti held on Thursday 24th in commemoration of december 1st world Aids day with the theme Hands up for #hiv prevention. Members of the CDs took to the garage, streets and market educating them on the need for Abstinence for the unmarried men and women, Being faithful to those in relationship and Correct and Consistent use of Condom. The President of the CDs Azubuike chima Nathaniel and his executives led members on the campaign, members of Band CDs were on ground to spice the occasion with songs. The sensitization was a platform for free VCT voluntary counselling and testing by Ado LACA officials as many took advantage of the exercise to know their status. members distributed male and female condoms to willing adults. The campaign ended with different messages encouraging people to know their status, as being positive was not the end of life but commencement of fullness of life, Abstinence was stressed as being one sure way of Preventing HIV.

Abstinence, Being faithful to your sexual partner and Correct and consistent use of condom is one way of preventing HIV prevention..
