Micheal Joseph Jackson was born to Joseph & Katherine Jackson in Gary,Indiana on August 29, 1958. He was d seventh of nine children. Micheal's siblings include Maureen "Rebbie" Jackson, Sigmund "Jackie" Jackson, Toriano "Tito" Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, La Toya Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Steven "Randy" Jackson & Jackson. Micheal began his Musical career @ d age of 5 as d lead singer of d Jackson 5 who played local clubs & bars around Indiana & d Eastern USA.
In 1968 d Jackson 5 were discovered by bobby Taylor of d music group "The Vancourers" & soon thereafter were signed 2 Motown Records. The Jackson 5 & their family moved 2 California were they soon become national stars when their first 4 singles, "ABC", "I want you  back", "The love you save" & "I will be there" became #1 hits. With Motown Records, The Jackson 5 made 14 albums & Micheal himself recorded 4 solo albums on d label, until d group left Motown Records in 1976 citing d need of artistic freedom.
