So, I came across 2 Volvo 240 converted to pickup at Apo Abuja yesterday. I took the pictures and want to share with Volvo fans here, in case you are interested in doing similar conversion to yours, if you have the model. One of the 240 conversion to pickup has been concluded. The 2nd one is still in process. Will first attach pictures of the concluded one, followed by the 2nd. Ikenna351, Lion King - Monk. 1 Like

For those that drive Volvo 760 GLE & 780 with PRV V6 Engines, you can source for the engine parts in Peugeot & Renault shops with older model parts. That's the little I know about Volvo. Ikenna351, Lion King - Monk. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Ikenna351: These ones look really nice and well built, wow! The conversion is so popular at the east and the border parts of Lagos, but i hardly see ones as neatly and detailed as this. Nice one |

Hello folks. Please what is the right power steering fluid for 2010 Volvo XC60? The owner's manual says WSS M2C204-A2 or equivalent product. I have no clue as to what the equivalent product is. Thanking you in advance for your help. |
Re: Thread For Volvo Car Owners/lovers by valarinz: 6:25am On May 28, 2020 |
cdz: Locally, i doubt you'll easily find any of those recommended fluids, you can still get pentosin from radautoworks though, its good. Else settle for original Holts or Abro, buy at reputable stores like shoprite etc |
Re: Thread For Volvo Car Owners/lovers by cdz: 9:25am On May 28, 2020 |
valarinz: Thanks for the response, Val, but the question is Holts or Abro of what spec? Dexron III certainly won't work. I'm just in need of anything synthetic in the ATF or power steering fluid market. As per Radautoworks, I don't think they've opened since the lockdown. |
Re: Thread For Volvo Car Owners/lovers by valarinz: 10:47am On May 28, 2020 |
cdz: If you really need it to be synthetic then forget the Abro and Holts, you can easily find Prestone Fluids here in big stores too, theyre on Jumia too |

There is a professional Volvo mech in surulere aguda. He's Togo .and very reliable. If u van find your way to brown street aguda.that's where his shop is located. He's name is yawei Some mechanics are wacks, but self acclaimed professionals. This is what's keeping me from owning a Volvo... I have always loved volvos because they are rare to see on the high ways, especially here in ph. And it's not as vulnerable as other products. But in Port Harcourt here, am not sure of a good Volvo mechanic, and that's what is keeping me from saving up for a Volvo. Wish one was in Lagos, where oga Val and other professionals are. Can people be this wicked?. I came across this s6o yesterday on jiji, called d seller(owner) and so I left my surulere abode this morning ,spent hard earned money on t-fare to ikorodu, traffic to the location was hell.just to see this lovely ride.but alas!!!All that glitter is not gold!! This guys phone gave the scrap a new Look and hid all the stains n dirts.the engine ,to speak of was a total write off.in fact the car is a heap of junkyard. And this left me begging for answers why this guy would allow his car to go this baaaaad b4 selling it. It pained me because I came a long distance to see a junk of a car someone offered online for sale.thus is not fair. The guy himself didn't show up at the spot.....like he knew it wasn't worth it...so he sent a proxy guy. Why not sell it immediately when you know say ground no level again.? I didn't utter a word ,I just went round the thing and immediately left the spot...with anger oo!! Nawa oo God help us. |

peternwanji: Welcome to the story of most naija used cars. Majority of us buy cars that are well above our earning range, and then the abuse and abandonment begins, at the point of sale you're left with junk 2 Likes |
