I have seen a very stupid girl who was madly in love with a psychopath and drug addict and all the pleadings of her parents fell on deaf ears until the lunatic fringe got her pregnant and turned her into his punching bag. She ended in hospital and later was wondering how she could have fallen in love with such a mad man in the first place.

The above case is just one in a million cases.

I have done some academic research on the consequences of rape on women in Nigeria. Again, most of our girls and ladies in Nigeria are the best actresses in faking falling in love and faking orgasms all in their desperation to hook a handsome guy or rich man. Then, later they show him their true colours on the other side of midnight.

I have seen marriages based on lies.

So, she succeeded in trapping the fall guy and today they are married with four beautiful children. The husband is still being foolled that she loves him.

A popular Nigerian female celebrity told me how she had an agreement with her friend to convince a rich white guy to fall for her and both of them would share the gains in cash and kind. And the white man boasts that she loves him. And she plays girl in love perfectly.

The point is, falling in love could be make believe.

What do these girls and ladies even fall in love with in the first place?
With your good looks?
Your financial security?
Or your high connections?
