As it stands now in Nigeria, one of these situations is very imminent: hike in data price with manageable data (quality) services. It is usually said that when two elephants are fighting, the grasses will suffer. The govt (NCC) and Telecom companies are the understanding and misunderstanding each other and we the data 'consumers' are on the receiving end of their game. So let's see the two sides of the coin we (you and I) prefer:- better quality data services with higher prices or normal data price regime with declined service quality- considering the fact that we are in economic recession and that not withstanding we need data to stay connected and informed. Click 'LIKE' for better quality with higher price or 'SHARE' for the second option, low price low quality.

They can do both at the same time.
If they want, they should make a special set of 4G plans that are more expensive, and leave the normal 3G/2G plans as they are.(MTN's 3G is faster than Spectranet's '4G') So if a person wants faster speeds he should pay more.
