for those who dislike HSM because they feel its too childish juvenile, this may be more to your taste.



Mills and Boon romance meets gothic vampire characters and all the usual evil villains thrown in for good measure. Not to mention the superman male lead who's stunningly goodlooking and has all the required male qualities needed for a romantic thrill.  Vampire chick lit, in a way.

The story is intriguing even though the characters seem one dimensional. Superman/vampire struggles with his emotions and his lethal love experiment.

I guess since Anne Rice retired to religious writing, someone had to continue the vampire genre. This must be it.

Say You're One of Them by Uwem Akpan (I was supposed to have read this book when I acquired it at the start of the summer, but there are so many books and so little time). LOL
