Adebayo Ogunlesi, A Nigerian billionaire appointed into Donald Trump's Economic Advisory Team


The United States President-elect, Donald Trump, has appointed a Nigerian businessman, Bayo Ogunlesi, as a member of his Economic Advisory team.
Business Insider reports that the team consists of multi-billionaires, including Ogunlesi, who is the only black man in the Advisory Committee.

Ogunlesi is an Ondo State-born and an Oxford and Harvard graduate who is the CEO and Founder of multi-billion dollar company, Global Infrastructure Partners.

Ogulesi’s father was the first Professor of Medicine in Nigeria.


Other members of the forum include:

1. Stephen Schwarzman (forum chairman), chairman, CEO, and co-founder of Blackstone.
2. Paul Atkins, CEO of Patomak Global Partners, former commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission
