Access Bank Nigeria Plc has warned its customers to avoid dealing with Mavrodi Mondial Movement, a Ponzi scheme, which has been declared illegal by the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The bank in an emailed statement to its customers said it had come to its attention “that some customers are engaged in the Ponzi scheme called ‘MMM’”.
“Please be advised that this scheme is not in line with any applicable or known investment product and may ultimately lead to loss of funds in the long run,” the bank warned.

“We advise that customers avail themselves of genuine and approved investments and products in the Nigerian banking environment.”

However, NE gathered that despite the warning by the Federal Government, thousands of Nigerians have continued to patronize the scheme with its website ranking as one of the five most visited in the country, ahead of Facebook.

And this is coming from a bank that can't give you a reasonable interest on your savings with them. I've Been banking with access bank for over a year now and they've never thought of doing what MMM has done for me in a month. I'ld rather provide help with my cash than save it in access bank. Come on Mavrodians! Tomorrow is mavro day. God bless MMM. *smiles*

Who should we beware of? Access Bank or MMM?

Access Bank till today have not refunded money to Intercontinental Bank customers since they bought it over.

Is that not fraud.

You are here telling us that MMM is a dubious scheme

Well i think the answer to your post is quite glaring

Even to pay up to 10% interest on fixed deposits na wahala.

Abeg MMM all the way.
