They play different and unrelated role but president has executive power to take certain decision bidding on the country therefore make the office most powerful.

In a democracy, the president should be the most powerful individual in a country but the legislative arm as a body should be stronger than the president.

I don't think that's the case in naija tho

Any time the President feels the Senate is taking its joker too far he has a number of options which includes using the security forces to forcibly stop them from doing whatever he does not want them to do.
