The North West chapter of the All Progressive Party has quashed the suspension of Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani, by the Kaduna State chapter of the party.

The party said “every disciplinary measure should strictly follow the Constitution of the party”.
Mr. Sani, who has been embroiled in a bitter row with Kaduna governor, Nasir El-Rufai, was suspended twice by a faction of party loyal to Mr. El-Rufai.

But speaking at the party’s zonal meeting in Dutse, Jigawa State, on Saturday, the north-west national vice chairman, Inuwa Abdulkadir, said arbitrary actions by party leaders in states against members were invitation to anarchy.
He said intra-party wrangling has threatened the foundation of the party, as such, misunderstandings should be discussed openly to foster harmony and growth in the party.

“We should do all we could not to depart from the winning formula of our party in 2015,” he said.
Mr. Abdulkadir urged all the warring factions in Kaduna State to respect the reconciliation committee of the party headed by the chairman of north-west governors’ forum, Aminu Masari, for the good of the party.

The governors of Kano, Umar Ganduje; Katsina, Bello Masari; Sokoto, Aminu Tambuwal; Kebbi, Abubakar Bagudu; and Jigawa, Abubakar Badaru, attended the meeting.

Hell Rufai has more than his match in this fellow..... And the most interesting thing abt the senator is the fact that he is always looking unruffled and while at the same time delivering killer punches against his opponent.
.He already told the A. P. C that he was "unsunspensable " ,they didn't believe him bt now the governor knows better.

Where was Hell Rufai when the likes of Sani Shehu and Gani Fawehinmi of blessed memory were in the trenches fighting successive oppressive regimes?

It would ve even been ok if all these muscle flexing would be beneficial to the average citizen,bt nope, rather it's for who controls the state A. P. C excos so as to be in a good stead against the 2019 elections....

Shehu Sani, together with the likes of Chief Gani Fawehimi, who were beaten and thrown into jail by the military regimes cos they were fighting for democracy and the masses is now being ridiculed by those who never for one day fight for the betterment of this country. Smh for those who would want to fight for this useless country

I hope Elrufai will learn to choose his battles after this. You dont go running like a bull in a china shop because you have executive power. Buhari learnt this the hard way and Elrufai will get the memo soon enough.
