Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has
alleged that two agents of the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) were shot dead in
Bodo-Ogoni in Gokana local government
area of the state by security agents, The
Nation reports.
The governor fresh allegation comes just
after the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC) had announced that
there were dynamite explosions in
Akuku-Toru LGA as some of its officials
were attacked in Khana local
government and Tai state constituency.
Wike alleges that two PDP agents were killed in
Ogoni
However, Nnamdi Omoni, a Deputy
Superintendent of Police (DSP), hasn’t
reacted to Wike’s allegation as at the
time of filing this report.
Recall that bomb blasts was reported in
Abonnema-Kalabari, the headquarters
of Akuku-Toru LGA of the state as
election was postponed in the area till
Sunday, December 11.

engaged security personnel in heavy
shootout in Bori, the traditional
headquarters of Ogoniland

Rivers of blood. Rivers State and Northern Nigeria, especially North East, is almost the same. I suggest that Rivers State should be added to North East. The people of the state do not value life. Election was conducted in Edo, no life was lost, Election was carried out in Ondo, no life was lost. Election was conducted in Bayelsa state, no life was lost. Why Rivers State always? This is not about dullard Buhari, Wiked, or Betrayer Amaechi but it's a social decadence of Rivers people and lack of value for human life! IT SEEMS THAT RIVER STATE PEOPLE ARE TOO WICKED AND HEARTLESS. WHY KILLING YOURSELVES BECAUSE OF YOURSELVES?
